Hello everyone,

I know im not the only one who is sick of the lack of RP features implemented by Arenanet. Its lack of consideration for RP's has left us as a broken community scattered to all parts of the Guild Wars universe.

I seek to put a change to that!

I have started a petition against Arenanet asking for some RP features to be put in the game. Full details can be found at http://www.PetitionOnline.com/rp4gw

The Guild Wars community has always been full of anti social morons, implementing a system where the very numbered RP'ers can cyber with each other isn't going to fix a community. Now, if you are suggesting a Social area, like a tavern or something, it has already been suggested (Yes, in the Sanitarium Section.. Where THIS should be.) I doubt Anet even looked at it, theres too much coding for that sort of thing and they won't implement it into GW1.

It would be cool for something like that, but the chances are too slim.

i like the way GW is now. i'm very happy not to have the regular role-playing features.

Here's what you can do if you really want to roleplay more in gw:
1) Find some like-minded individuals
2) Form a guild
3) Get everyone to install teamspeak or ventrilo
4) Put on your handmade costumes
5) Do your best Sir Ian McKellen impressions as you conquer Cathedral of Flames with your new Fellowship.

The RP community is not 'broken and scattered.' The RP community is simply pathetically small to the point that the entirety of the community appears, to an overly optimistic viewer, to be a broken fragment of a much greater whole. You want Guild Wars RP? Find some friends to RP with.

RPing has kind of died down as GWRPA board is down and there are no planned events.
